The length of the DVI cable cannot exceed 8 meters, otherwise it will affect the picture quality, and HDMI basically has no cable length limit. As long as one HDMI cable can replace up to 13 analog transmission lines, it can effectively solve the problem of messy and tangled connections behind the home entertainment system.
The HDMI standard is still under development. The HDMI 1.2A standard has been officially launched, which can support up to 30/36/48 bit colors and achieve a real 1 billion color performance capability. It also supports the latest multi-channel surround sound audio system DTS HD and True HD.
The 1.2A version of HDMI is also backward compatible with the existing HDMI interface, and has begun to develop into small digital devices and PC graphics cards. The latest graphics cards with HDMI interfaces are already on the market. The new generation of high-definition discs HD DVD and BD also use HDMI as the legal high-definition output interface.
