Amplify the bandwidth of single-link mode to 340 Mhz (data transmission speed 10.2 Gbps)

Expanded support from 24bit color gamut (16.77 million colors) to 30-bit, 36-bit, and 48-bit (RGB or YCbCr) color gamut (equivalent to more than one billion color display)

Support the new xvYCC color standard

Support automatic voice synchronization (line to mouth) function

Supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio signal output to an external decoder. If the player has the ability to directly decode these two signals, it does not need to support HDMI 1.3, because all HDMI specifications can send uncompressed audio signals.

Propose a new miniaturized connector to support lightweight cameras

SonyPlayStation 3 is the first HDMI 1.3 player to be marketed.

Sony BRAVIA KDL-46X2500 and KDL-40X2500 are the first HDMI 1.3 displays on the market. (1080p supports the new xvYCC color standard, 36bits deep color)

EPSON EMP-TW1000 is the first HDMI 1.3 projector to be marketed (supports 30-bit deep color)

The main thing is to modify the HDMI Testing specification, and the HDMI Specification is still HDMI 1.3a. Therefore, for the first time, it happened that the main HDMI Specification and the HDMI Testing Specification were different versions.

The main difference from the previous version is the wire test (adding wire test items or modifying its content will help the interconnection compatibility of HDMI devices)
